Fireworks Magazine (UK) Interviews Circuline in Issue 74
Thank you so much to Fireworks Magazine (UK) for the nice interview with Circuline in Issue 74!
Circuline’s New Guitarist is Beledo!
After an exhaustive six month search, Circuline is excited and proud to announce its new guitarist is Beledo!
Uruguay-born, NYC transplant Beledo has classical and jazz training on guitar, piano, and voice. He has performed worldwide leading his own bands, and as an ensemble member. Beledo’s compositional, recording, and performing experience includes flamenco, classical, rock, jazz, Latin, world, jazz-rock, progressive rock, and jazz fusion. Beledo has been featured in Guitar Player and Jazziz magazines.
Beledo has recorded and toured with such musical greats as Adam Holzman (Miles Davis, Steven Wilson), Alex Machachek (UK), Virgil Donati (UK), Tito Puente, Pedro Aznar (Pat Metheny), Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon), Stefon Harris, Gary Husband, and Randy Brecker. In 2013 Beledo signed with Moonjune Records, joining the ranks of fellow artists Allan Holdsworth, Soft Machine Legacy, and Tony Levin’s Stick Men.
Beledo is a fantastic player, a great guy, and with his background and experience, he is a great fit for Circuline. We’re happy to welcome him to our band!
Circuline Guest Guitarist #7 of 7: Doug Ott (Enchant)
Circuline is excited to announce the last of the Guest Guitarists for the second album, “Counterpoint”.
Guest #7 of 7: Doug Ott (Enchant). Doug is the co-leader, chief songwriter, and rocking guitarist for the progressive rock band Enchant. Enchant have spent more than 25 years in the progressive rock scene, with an 11-year hiatus in studio album discography between 2003 and 2014. They returned to the studio and live performance with their recent release, “The Great Divide”.
Andrew Colyer met Enchant keyboardist Bill Jenkins on the Moody Blues Cruise and Cruise to the Edge in 2014. Bill was performing with Sound of Contact, and Andrew was performing with the Prog Rock Orchestra. Bill and Andrew met up again in 2015 at the 12th international Rites of Spring festival (RoSfest) where Enchant was performing, and got introduced to Doug. Andrew and Darin Brannon were impressed with Enchant’s live performance and new album, and when Circuline needed another guitarist for their second album, they called Doug.
Doug is contributing guitar tracks to the song “Who I Am”. We’re excited and grateful to be working with him!
