About The Song
“The album starts off with the groove based “Tempus Horribilis”. This track is quite atmospheric and ambient, the music drifts along effortlessly with striking bass work from Shelby Logan Warne (Kyros), while Dave Bainbridge of The Strawbs adds the slick guitar work. It’s a solid vibe with female vocals from Natalie Brown who is a superb singer. The synths performed by long term member Andrew Colyer give the song its slick cinematic feel. Mid way through, this ethereal song changes its musical colours slightly and cascades into an array of eerie bass and synth work, coupled with melodic vocals and experimental modern guitar phrasing.” – Powerplay Magazine

Lyrics
Times like these, a vice, like dying, like bombs
Anger like an aphrodisiac
I struggle no escape
Ripping ‘round my heart and head, I stumble
Trembling, time to wake
The rage at the ready
Tears unrelenting
A paradox
The abyss
Questioning the truth of conscience
Deception’s at the gate
Staring at the face of hatred
Ignorant of our fate
The plague of dissension
Gaslighting tension
My faith is gone
World on fire
Times like these, a vice, like dying, like bombs
Rage is at the ready, time to explode
Times like these, a vice, like dying, like bombs
Tempus Horribilis, time to be done
